The lacing pattern, first seen on the Infinito,  balances tension and eliminates pressure hot spots. The Li2 dials have been redesigned to offer a lower profile, marginally improving aerodynamics while also making them less vulnerable to being accidentally hit.  The bi-directional adjustment allows you to easily micro-adjust the fit tighter or looser depending on your preference.  R5 Carbon-Reinforced Outsole With a shape and silhouette inspired by their R2 Carbon sole unit, the R5 Outsole provides a reliable pedalling platform honed for smooth pedalling motion. Made from carbon-reinforced Nylon, the R5 has a stiffness rating of 6/10. This offers a fine balance of pedalling efficiency alongside a push for greater comfort over long distances and rougher roads.  Vent holes provide airflow into the shoes, keeping your feet cooler as temperatures build. You'll also benefit from the recessed cleat position, making it easier when you're off the bike and walking (you'll be first in line for the mid-ride coffee and cake).  PU Upper Giving you excellent durability alongside outstanding comfort, the PU upper is the ideal material for cycling shoes.
