Combining VECTIV™ technology, an ultra-light yet supportive footplate, rocker geometry EVA midsole and SurfaceCTRL™ grip,  the Women's Vectiv Exploris Mid FUTURELIGHT™ Leather Shoes from The North Face have been designed to maximise your energy on the trail. Additionally, the sustainable FUTURELIGHT™ membrane is incredibly waterproof and breathable, ensuring feet stay dry and fully ventilated at all times, while OrthoLite® X55™ footbeds lend cushioning and a leather upper adds durability for day-long wear. The heels and toes are also reinforced for protection on rocky trails, and 4mm lugs hold firm on uneven terrain. What is FUTURELIGHT™? Unlike conventional membranes, the nano structure of the FUTURELIGHT™ membrane allows air to pass through for better venting and breathability without sacrificing water-resistance and durability. This nano-fibre structure has enabled The North Face to create its most lightweight, breathable, and sustainable membrane to date. An ultra-thin, nimble membrane that feels just as comfortable and provides the protection needed against the elements in the harshest environments.  The production method for FUTURELIGHT™ also uses less chemicals and water than traditional methods.

De The North Face Vectiv Exploris Mid Futurelight Leather is een hoogwaardige wandelschoen voor dames. Geschikt voor wandelen door de stad, bos en lichte bergpaadjes. Geïntegreerde, beschermende hieloverlay. Futurelight met gesealde naden is een geavanceerde materiaaltechnologie die kan worden aangepast om verbeterde combinaties van ademende waterdichte bescherming te leveren. Mesh-hielkraag met voorgevormde details biedt extra enkelondersteuning. 3D TPU-plaat onder de voet met enkele dichtheid helpt bij meerrichtingsstabiliteit. Tussenzool van VECTIV-schuim met enkele dichtheid en hoge vering specifiek voor vrouwen. VECTIV-technologie combineert een ultralichte maar ondersteunende voetplaat. Voor wandelen geoptimaliseerde SurfaceCTRL-rubberen buitenzool. Uitneembare inlegzool - OrthoLite- foam; licht en ademend en hebben ingebouwde vochtregulatie en antimicrobiële werking. Het leer is goed waterafstotend, maar zul je regelmatig goed moeten onderhouden. Een waterdichte schoen is over het algemeen minder ademend dan niet niet-waterichte schoen van dezelfde kwaliteit.
